The doctoral school of KIT / Arts et Métiers ParisTech is an extension of the co-founded French-German Institute for “Industry of the Future” which is committed to extending and developing our collaboration in training, research and innovation. The doctoral candidates are trained to create, transfer and transmit the highest quality technology-oriented research and training to face future challenges.
We are particularly committed to fostering cooperation in the form of advanced training in order to upskill the industrial workforce and to train the next generation of engineers in order to rise up to the current and future challenges in the manufacturing sector. This doctoral school ensures a joint education that is interdisciplinary, complementary, and intercultural. The French-German Institute has strong ties to industrial partners through research collaborations with major industrial players and innovative SMEs. These partnerships accelerate the transfer of research results into industrial applications and markets, and enhance the job prospects of our PhDs.
Le collège doctoral KIT / Arts et Métiers ParisTech pour l’Industrie du Futur s’inscrit dans la logique de la création du French-German Institute for “Industry of the Future” qui vise à étendre et développer les collaborations en Formation, Recherche et Innovation entre le KIT et les Arts et Métiers. Les étudiants en doctorat complètent leur formation technique de haute qualité et développent une expertise pour créer, transférer et transmettre leurs connaissances et leur savoir-faire afin de relever les défis de l’industrie du futur.
Nous souhaitons favoriser les formations franco-allemandes d’excellence pour les futures générations d’ingénieurs pour l’industrie. Ce collège doctoral permet la formation conjointe de nos futur(e)s doctorant(e)s en favorisant le développement de compétences méthodologiques, interdisciplinaires et interculturelles. Ce collège est en lien étroit avec l’Institut franco-allemand et les partenaires industriels afin d’accroitre le transfert des résultats de la recherche et de favoriser l’insertion professionnelle de nos doctorants.
Das Doktorandenkolleg der KIT / Arts et Métiers ParisTech ist ein Baustein des gemeinsam gegründeten French-German Institute for “Industry of the Future” mit dem Ziel, die Kooperationen in Ausbildung, Forschung und Innovation zu vertiefen und weiter zu entwickeln. Die Doktoranden werden darin geschult, sich aktiv an der Generierung, dem Transfer und der Weitergabe von hochqualitativer, technologieorientierter Forschung und Ausbildung zu beteiligen, die es der Industrie in Hochlohnländern erlaubt, den Herausforderungen der Zukunft zu begegnen.
Besonderer Wert wird auf die Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Ausbildung der nächsten Generation von Ingenieuren und Führungskräften gelegt, um sie für die Bewältigung der neuen Herausforderungen in der aktuellen und zukünftigen Produktionstechnik zu schulen. Über die im gemeinsamen Diskurs erworbenen interkulturellen Fähigkeiten hinaus kann dies nur durch interdisziplinäres Wissen erreicht werden, das komplementär zur bisherigen Ausbildung und zum Arbeits- und Forschungsumfeld der beteiligten Doktoranden ist. Die starke Verbindung zwischen dem deutsch-französischen Institut und der Industrie durch Kooperation und gemeinsame Forschungsprojekte mit großen, führenden Akteuren am Markt und innovativen KMUs beschleunigt den Transfer von Forschungsergebnissen in die Industrie.
